Meet The

Adventuring Owls

Nine owls. Nine colors. Nine National Park Passport regions. Each one handmade in Asheville, North Carolina and ready to hit the trail or the town.

Don't have your passport yet? Get one here.

Who's adventuring with you?

Ember_.jpg

Ember

Red | National Capital Region

Ember doesn't wait for permission. She's already three steps ahead, scouting the trail, reading the map, and figuring out the way through before anyone else has laced up their boots. The parliament's fearless leader and Ranger Joy's most enthusiastic co-pilot, Ember is for the adventurer who was born to lead, even when they still have a thing or two to learn.

Cosmo_.jpg

Cosmo

Orange | Midwest Region

Cosmo will have you laughing before you even hit the trail. Quick with a joke, full of surprises, and completely impossible to predict, Cosmo is the owl who keeps the whole parliament smiling no matter how long the hike takes. If you've ever been the funniest one in the group, Cosmo relates, don't you know!

Aspen__edited.jpg

Aspen

Yellow | Rocky Mountains Region

Aspen has already decided he's going to be an ecologist. Don't bother trying to talk him out of it. He's the owl who stops on the trail to identify every plant, explain every ecosystem, and wonder out loud why more people don't know about tree canopy microclimates. If you're the one who knows every plant on the trail, Aspen identifies with you!

Starlynn_.jpg

Starlynn

Green | Western Region

Starlynn shows up with her whole heart. She cheers the loudest, feels the deepest, and somewhere in the middle of the hike a brontosaurus wanders into her imagination and starts walking right beside her. If you're the one who brings the energy and loves the people around you fiercely, Starlynn is your owl.

Jasper_.jpg

Jasper

Blue | Pacific Northwest Region

Jasper notices everything. Every sound, every rustle, every shadow moving through the trees. He's the one asking questions before anyone else even knew there was something to wonder about. Curious, a little anxious, and endlessly observant, if you heard something in the woods before anyone else did, Jasper has been waiting for you to notice him.

Iris_.jpg

Iris

Light Blue | Mid-Atlantic Region

Iris has already identified seventeen ways this hike could go sideways. She's catalogued the risks, considered the variables, and decided to go anyway. Because Iris is tougher than she looks. She's the owl who feels the fear and hits the trail regardless. If you've ever been the most prepared person in the group and the most nervous one at the same time, Iris gets it.

Farrah_.jpg

Farrah

Purple | Southeast Region

Farrah is already at the trailhead. She packed last night, checked the weather this morning, and has been ready since before anyone else set their alarm. Time is precious and Farrah knows it. She's not worried, she's eager. The adventure is out there and every minute standing in the parking lot is a minute not spent on the trail. If you're the one who gets there first and wonders what's taking everyone so long, Farrah is right there with you.

Korva_.jpg

Korva

Grey | Southwest Region

Korva was already here before you arrived. She's been sitting quietly contemplating whether time and space fold into each other and what that means for the trail ahead. While everyone else is lacing up their boots, Korva is wondering if they were already at the summit before they even started climbing. If you've ever stared at a mountain and wondered not what's on top but why it exists at all, you and Korva are already having the same conversation.

Luna_.jpg

Luna

Tan | North Atlantic Region

Luna moves slowly down the trail and that is completely intentional. There is too much to see to rush past it. A wildflower tucked beside a root. A moss covered stone. The name of every bird in the canopy. Luna notices the quiet beautiful things that everyone else walks right by. If you've ever stopped mid hike because something small and perfect caught your eye, Luna has been there the whole time.

Zora_.jpg

Zora

Turquoise | Earned Only

Zora is a handmade turquoise ceramic owl made in Asheville, North Carolina, and is not available for purchase anywhere. You will not find Zora in any store, on any shelf, or on this website. The kind who laced up their boots, hit the trail, completed the Junior Ranger Program, and took an oath to protect the wild places. If that's you, Zora is waiting. Head to the Secret Mission page to claim her.

Nova

White | Earned Only

Nova is not for sale. Nova is the elder of the parliament, ancient and wise, and belongs to the rarest kind of adventurer. The kind who collected all nine owls and took them on one great adventure together. Not everyone reaches Nova. Head to the Secret Mission page to find out if you do.
